Connect your Shopify store
Link your store once, then create draft products from Listing preparation (photos, title, description, tags). This page will grow with screenshots and more topics.
Before you start
- Optify must have Shopify enabled on the server (API keys and redirect URL). If connection always fails, contact support.
- Use a Shopify account that can install apps or approve OAuth (usually store owner).
Connect in Optify
- Open Profile → Accounts.
- Under Shopify, enter your store subdomain:
my-storeormy-store.myshopify.com. - Click Connect Shopify store and approve the permissions on Shopify.
- Return to Optify; your shop should show as connected.
Create a draft from Listing preparation
- Open Listing preparation with your listings and fill the photo grid (and fields).
- Click the green Shopify button, enter price, then Create draft.
- Your browser should open the product in Shopify admin; review, publish, and adjust category or SEO as needed.
Digital products & downloads
If your listing is marked Digital in Optify, we set the Shopify variant to do not require shipping. To sell downloadable files (PDF, ZIP, etc.), Shopify usually needs an app such as Digital Downloads — attach files to the product in Shopify after the draft is created.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to try |

| Redirect / oauth error | Redirect URL in your Shopify app settings must match the server configuration exactly. |
| “Not connected” | Connect again from Profile; disable strict blockers for cookies or third-party redirects if needed. |
| Wrong product category | Shopify taxonomy ≠ Etsy; edit the standard category in Shopify admin if the guess is off. |
